1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyPrayerTower's website (myprayertower.com) and mobile applications ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

3. No Guarantee of Spiritual Outcomes

We facilitate spiritual services with sincerity and reverence for the Catholic faith. However, we make no representations or warranties regarding the spiritual efficacy of any prayer, Mass, candle, or spiritual bouquet. Faith is deeply personal, and we cannot and do not guarantee answers to prayers, miraculous interventions, or specific spiritual outcomes. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept this limitation.

4. Description of Services

MyPrayerTower provides a Catholic spiritual platform including:

• Church finder with Mass times and contact information
• Prayer wall for sharing and praying for intentions
• Prayer library with traditional and contemporary prayers
• Daily readings and saint information
• Rosary and devotional guides
• Community features and prayer groups
• Virtual candles and spiritual bouquets (digital representations)
• Mass offering coordination with partner churches

5. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may not share your account credentials with others
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

6. Virtual Offerings and Digital Memorials

MyPrayerTower offers various virtual spiritual services including candles, Mass offerings, spiritual bouquets, and digital chapels ("Offerings").

• Virtual Candles: Digital representations of prayer intentions displayed on our platform for a specified period. Physical candles are lit periodically in partner churches as part of our regular spiritual offering program, but individual physical lighting is not guaranteed for each virtual candle.
• Mass Offerings: We collect Mass requests and forward stipends to partner Catholic churches. The scheduling and celebration of Masses are at the sole discretion of the receiving clergy. We strive to ensure fulfillment within 90 days; otherwise, we will contact you regarding refund or alternative arrangements.
• Spiritual Bouquets: Digital spiritual gift packages representing prayers and offerings for loved ones.
• Digital Memorials: Hosted memorial pages. We reserve the right to remove content that violates Catholic values or these Terms.
• Service Fees: All prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (PayPal, Google Play).

7. Abandoned Transactions

If you initiate a transaction but do not complete it, we may retain your provided contact information to send reminders about your pending offering, subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our Services.

You represent that: You own or have the right to post all content you submit, and your content does not violate any third-party rights or any applicable laws.

Moderation Policy

All user-submitted content, including but not limited to Prayer Requests, Memorials, and Spiritual Bouquets, is subject to moderation. Free submissions are typically held in a "Pending" state until approved by an administrator to ensure they align with our community guidelines and Catholic values. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content at our sole discretion.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, or defamatory
• Post spam, advertisements, or solicitations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post false or misleading information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt our Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated means to access our Services without permission
• Post content that violates Catholic moral teaching
• Collect personal information from other users

10. Church Information Disclaimer

Church information including Mass times, addresses, and contact details is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or correct. Always verify directly with churches before visiting. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in church data.

11. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Plans

• Free: Basic features with advertisements
• Plus: $4.99/month or $39.99/year - Ad-free, offline mode, 2 family members
• Plus: $4.99/month or $39.99/year - Ad-free, offline mode, 2 family members

Payment Processing

• Android App: Payments are processed via Google Play Billing
• Web: Payments are processed via PayPal
• Subscriptions purchased on one platform are valid across all platforms when logged in

Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store or your account settings
• After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play Store or PayPal policies

One-Time Purchases

• Virtual Candles: Digital prayer candles with set durations (1-30 days)
• Mass Offerings: Requests for Masses to be offered for specific intentions
• Platform Support Contributions: Voluntary contributions to support our platform (not tax-deductible)
• Spiritual Bouquets: Gift packages of prayers sent to loved ones

12. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services (excluding User Content) are owned by MyPrayerTower and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Traditional prayers in the public domain remain in the public domain.

13. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not affiliated with the Vatican, any diocese, or any specific church unless explicitly stated. Content provided is for spiritual enrichment and is not intended as professional religious, legal, or medical advice.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPRAYERTOWER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
