The 54-Day Miraculous Rosary Novena: Instructions and Petition
📜 Historical & Biblical Origin: Revealed in 1884 by the Queen of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii to young Fortuna Agrelli, who had suffered incurable cramps for over a year. Our Lady promised: "Whoever desires to obtain favors from me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary in petition, and three novenas in thanksgiving." (27 days of petition + 27 days of thanksgiving = 54 days).
🕯️ Liturgical Setting & Structure: Prayed daily for 54 consecutive days without interruption. Even if the favor is not yet granted by Day 28, shift faithfully from petitions to thanksgiving.
The Sacred Formula:
- Days 1–27: 3 Novenas in Petition (Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious Mysteries in daily rotation).
- Days 28–54: 3 Novenas in Thanksgiving (Trusting that God has already answered according to His will).

Queen of the Holy Rosary, deign to accept this holy wreath of roses which I lay at thy feet.
Sweet Mother Mary, I offer thee this Rosary for the honor and glory of God,
and for the intention that weighs so heavily upon my heart:

I place my cause into thy maternal hands, confident that no one who has ever fled to thy protection
or implored thy help was left unaided.
Bind my heart to the Heart of Jesus, and grant me the grace of perseverance throughout these fifty-four days.
Closing Prayer (Petition Days 1–27):
"Hail, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, my Mother Mary, hail! At thy feet I humbly kneel to offer thee a Crown of Roses. Sweetest Mother, remember that it has never been heard that any one who fled to thy protection was abandoned. Receive my prayer, O Mother of the Word Incarnate, and graciously hear my petition!"
Closing Prayer (Thanksgiving Days 28–54):
"Hail, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, my Mother Mary, hail! In thanksgiving for thy gracious intercession, I lay this Crown of Roses at thy feet. Thou hast heard my cry, and I praise the Lord for His infinite mercy. May Jesus be praised, now and for evermore!" Amen.
