Lord God of my salvation,
The blow has fallen. In an instant, my position has been eliminated, my badge collected,
my salary severed, and my future thrown into financial uncertainty.
Shock, humiliation, fear, and betrayal are fighting for control of my heart.
Lord, anchor my soul in the rock of Thy truth.
My worth as a human being does not come from a company title, an email address, or a paycheck.
I am a son / daughter of God, bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
Forgive those who made this decision; deliver my heart from consuming bitterness.
Provide for my family's mortgage, groceries, health insurance, and daily necessities.
Do not let the enemy tempt me to despair or panic.
Close this door firmly, and lead me to the next chapter of my life.
Use this wilderness season to refine my faith, deepen my family's unity,
and redirect my career into work that brings greater honor to Thy Name and blessing to my household.
