Biography

St. Peter was the leader of the twelve apostles and the first Pope. Jesus gave him the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" and built His Church upon him.

O glorious St. Peter, through your intercession may we grow in virtue and faith. Help us to follow your holy example and to lead lives worthy of our calling. Pray for us that we may persevere in our journey toward eternal life. Amen.
