Divine Physician of Souls and Bodies, who didst heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, and touch the untouchable leper: I consecrate my medical profession and all my patients into Thy hands today.
As I step onto the hospital floor and enter the rooms of the suffering, grant me Thy eyes to see each patient not merely as a clinical case, a room number, or a disease, but as a sacred person created in Thine image and likeness.
Bless my mind with diagnostic acuity and scientific competence. Guard my hands with precision, steadiness, and gentle care. When fatigue threatens to numb my empathy, renew within me the flame of compassionate service that first called me to this vocation.
Give me the right words of comfort for anxious families and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silently present. Protect me from professional cynicism, diagnostic arrogance, and fatal errors.
