How can I face the future Lord, for my heart is broken. The love of my life has grown weary of our relationship and has walked away from me and I am heart-broken Lord.Why did this have to happen? I thought that You had brought us together. I thought that our love for each other had been made in heaven. But now they have gone and my heart is broken.I pray that You will help me to face up to what has happened and not to hanker for something that might have been. Help me to look forward to the future and not regret the past. And today Lord � now, I put my trust in You for I want You to guide my path, for I know that when I follow my own heart it always ends in distress.Lead me Lord. Lead me in the way that I should go. Heal my fractured heart and I pray that instead of bitterness being the fruit of this experience, that You will bring beauty for brokenness and replace despair with Your joy. Into Your hand I commit my life, my future, my relationships, and myself.Draw me ever closer into secure communion with Yourself. Thank You that You really do wipe away every tear from our eyes. We thank you, O God, for the Love You have implanted in our hearts. May it always inspire us to be kind in our words, considerate of feeling, and concerned for each other's needs and wishes. Help us to be understanding and forgiving of human weaknesses and failings. Increase our faith and trust in You and may Your Prudence guide our life and love. Dear God, neither my husband nor I were saved when we were first married and things were pretty good between us. But now Father God, I have become born again and become a new Christian, a new creation in Christ, and it is causing strife between us. It grieves me Father, that the love we once shared has become so sour, simply because I have started to trust in the Lord Jesus as my Saviour. My husband thinks I am soppy and is not interested in anything I say about Jesus, and is starting to get quite angry about it. Please help me Lord. Help me to be strong and help me to grow in my faith and not to give up. Help me to somehow tell my husband of the good news of the gospel of grace. I want him to know that the Lord Christ died for his sins and took the punishment that he deserved, and that He rose again on the third day and broke the power of death in the lives of believers. The gospel is so wonderful and I just long that he comes to faith too. Please Lord, I know that nothing is impossible for You to do, and I ask that you show my husband the truth. I pray that one day soon he will be saved, like me. I pray this in Jesus' name,�Amen.
Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for the spouse with which You have blessed me, and pray that we may continue to grow together in love with every passing day. I pray that our marriage may be filled with trust and love and that You would supply us with an abundance of Your grace in our lives, and peace in our hearts. May we always seek to be kind and compassionate one with the other. May we be ready to listen and to bear each other�s burdens with gentleness of spirit and cheerfulness of heart. Help us to be sensitive towards each other's weaknesses, forgiving towards each other�s faults, encouraging towards each other�s strengths and to share each other�s burdens with patience and wisdom, as we place the other's well being before that of our own. Loving Lord and Heavenly Father, I bring to You my dear husband, who is serving far from home in the military forces. Lord, it is hard for us both to have these times of separation but Father, I pray that You would guard and guide him throughout the time that we are apart. Father, as he is having to undertake this patriotic duty abroad, please watch over him and care for him as only You can. Return him home safely to his family I pray, for we all love him so much. Thank You, Lord, that my dear husband is a child of Yours and trusts You as his Saviour. May he grow in grace and in fellowship with You during this time abroad, and keep him from the unsaved scoffers who love to pour scorn on those that trust in Jesus as Saviour. Give him wisdom in all the decisions and choices he will need to make, and I pray that You would keep him from temptation during this time of separation. Also Lord, I pray that You would deliver him from any dangers that may be lurking during our time of separation. Thank You, Lord, that You have scheduled every day of our lives and that no evil can happen to him that is not permitted by You. Keep me trusting in You Lord, and be with me during our time apart.�Thank You, in Jesus' name, Amen.
Dear God, I thank You that I am Your child and that nothing can snatch me out of Your hands, but Lord, You know the state of my husband�s heart better that I could begin to understand it myself. Bring him into a right relationship with Yourself, I pray. O Lord, there are times when he seems to be searching and other times that he seems to be totally disinterred in the gospel. I ask that his heart is prepared to respond to the truth of Your Word.�Be with him Lord I pray, and cover my dear husband with Your cloak of protection during this time that we are separated. Give him the courage to defend our homeland without compromise, and protect him in every way. But Lord, more than anything, I pray that he may come to know You as His Saviour. Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for my dear husband and the life that we have together.I know that he desires to uphold Your perfect standard in his life, in the power of the Holy Spirit, but the pressures at work and the ways of the world often cause him to falter, causing him to compromise what he knows is Your will in his life. Lord, I pray that You would give him the strength, and the grace and wisdom to stand-up for what he knows is right. I pray that he maintains his integrity in the world of work, even when others weaken or succumb to the ways of this world system. Convict him Lord I pray, to do what is righteous in Your sight and help him to do what is good and profitable for his eternal soul, and to apply it in his own walk and life. Give him a teachable spirit and a willingness to listen to Your gentle promptings in his heart, so that he lives in a way that honours You. Give me a teachable spirit too I pray, and keep me Lord from being critical. But rather give me the wisdom and patience to live as a godly wife in genuine, biblical submission to him, as You desire. And I pray that we may grow together in grace, and demonstrate in all areas of our lives the wisdom and integrity that only comes from abiding in the Lord Jesus, in Whose name I pray, Amen.
Lord Jesus, help me I pray. I am in anguish and sadness that my husband has been returned to prison and ask that You would show him the error of his ways, and cause him to repent of all his sins and to leave this life of crime and hate behind. Lord, it breaks my heart that my husband, whom I love dearly, has been like this for so long and although he knows that his life-style is very wrong, seems unable to break the pattern of crime and violence. Lord, You alone can change the heart. You alone can convict a man of his sins. You alone can bring my husband to the point where he renounces his criminal-type life-style and lives a normal life. Lord, I believe that You are the God of the impossible and so I lay the life of my husband before You and pray that in Your mercy You would step into his life and bring him to Yourself, for nothing but You can break the power of sin in his life. Dear Lord, how I praise You for the gift of my wife. I pray Lord, that day by day she may become mature in the faith, a holy woman of prayer that is growing in grace and in her knowledge of Her Saviour, day by day Give her the inner strength to carry out her duties both at home and with others, through the power of the Holy Spirit. May her whole body, soul and spirit be kept blameless at the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank You for her deep love of the Lord Jesus, and keep her I pray, that she may be alert to the wiles of the evil one and remain in You. May she experience Your love for her and the peace and joy that comes from an intimate relationship with You. May the roots of her faith be secured on the Rock of her salvation as she abides in Christ. Help my wife and I to be one in You and one with each other, to Your praise and glory. Dear Lord, have mercy on my unsaved husband. I pray that he will come to full and free salvation. Have mercy on him Lord, and draw him to Yourself with Your cords of love, I pray. Help him to see the destructive nature of sin, and I pray that he will repent and turn to the cross of Christ.Give me patience to wait for Your best timing and wisdom so that I know when to speak and when to remain silent about You. Dear Father God, the day is just beginning and I have many little duties that need to be attended to. I pray that I will glorify You in the daily round of activities to which I need to turn my attention today.May I prepare the family meals today with a grateful heart for Your generous provision. Be with all those that are facing hardship today and I ask that in Your mercy You provide for their needs too. Thank You, that You have promised to provide for all our needs according to Your riches and grace. I want to thank You for the home that You have provided for my family and me. Mortify in me all violence of earthly passion, all selfishness and inconsiderateness (here name any besetting sin which may be a hindrance to you), that I may love her as Christ loved His Church, cherish and comfort her as my own body, and have as great care for her happiness as for my own. Grant that we may live in peace, without contention; in unity, without discord. Dear Father God, You tell us in You Word that it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and to faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour. Thank You, Lord, for my salvation but I want to offer up my heartfelt prayers and supplication, for the salvation of my wife. Lord, I did not realise the importance of being unequally yoked to an unbeliever but now I am beginning to understand the tremendous difficulties that arise when one spouse is an unbeliever. But I love my wife Father, and it breaks my heart to think that she does not have the promise of eternal life.Father, I ask that You would convict her of her need of Jesus and bring her into a saving relationship with Yourself. Give me the wisdom and strength I pray, to share the gospel with her, not only in what I say but in how I live. Lord, You have promised that whatsoever we ask in the name of Jesus will be granted, as long as it is in line with Your will, and I know it is Your will that my wife should be saved, so I ask You to work a mighty work in Her life and draw her into a relationship with Yourself. Loving Lord, it is so hard for a wife to have to face a life without her husband, and that is my situation now. It is so hard to go to bed each night and get up again each morning knowing that he will never be there for me. And Lord, he did so many little jobs for me around the house and took on all the responsibilities of the every day affairs of life, and Father, I dread having to face these things all alone and without his support. Lord, I ask that You would be close to me, closer than You have ever been before for I can�t face these things alone. I am looking to You, trusting on You and believing in Your Word, for You have promised to be with me no matter what befalls. Lord, keep me from brooding and feeling sorry for myself. I know it is good and right to grieve for a time, but help me to readjust to the fact of being all alone and help me Lord, to look to the future with hope and expectation as well as remembering the past with grateful thanks for the good times we enjoyed together. Dear Heavenly Father, my heart is so heavy as I have recently found out that my wife of many years has been having an affair with another man and has decided to walk away from our marriage. Lord, I am shattered and shocked to the core and coming to You to plead Your mercy on us both. I pray Lord, for Your covering of hope and peace, and pray that You would help me to come to terms with all that has happened, as my life seems to be falling apart and there is nothing that I can do. But I trust in You and cast all my cares upon You and pray that in Your mercy You would convict her of her sins, not only against me but against You Lord. Loving Father, thank You Lord for the multiplied blessings there are in marriage, and that You made us male and female and united us together in love. Thank You for my wonderful life-partner, whom I see as a gracious gift from You.Thank You, Lord, for bringing us together in love and for the joy we find in our union with each other and our fellowship with You. Oh dear Father, I come to You weary and worn with little hope of things ever getting better. My marriage, which started out so well has become a nightmare and I don�t know what to do. Whatever I try to do to please my husband seems never to be right, and I find at times I am in the depths of despair and discouragement. But Lord, I made my marriage vows before You and promised to love and to cherish until we were parted in death. In my heart there is nothing I long for more than that my marriage would work and that my husband and I were united in love. Nothing is impossible to You Lord, and so I ask that You help me in this difficult marriage. Teach me Lord to become the wife I always wanted to be. Change me Lord I pray, into the woman that You would have me be, and break down the invisible barrier of mistrust that seems to divide us. Oh Lord God, my heart is deeply grieved and I can scarcely bear to bring the pain that I am carrying to You in prayer, but Lord my husband has been secretly involved in sexual fantasies and pornography and my heart is breaking. Lord, I don�t know which way to turn, but I come to You seeking Your strength and courage. Lord, there is part of me that wants to walk away from my marriage and never see my husband again, and yet I also know that what he needs is my support and help � but Lord, I am not sure that I have the strength or the courage to be the support that he needs. But I know, Father, that with Your help and Your grace, I can be the supportive wife needed to help him through this distressing period of our lives.�Lord, I place my husband and this terrible addiction he has into Your loving hands. Give me wisdom to seek the help that he needs and I pray that with Your help, he may be able to break this evil habit that has been tearing our lives apart. Restore Lord the years that the locusts have eaten, and may we come through this experience a stronger couple and be enabled to put this sad episode behind us, I pray. Amen.

Give me the light of Your grace, that I may decide wisely concerning the person who is to be my partner through life. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear man to You who has been so devastated by his wife�s betrayal and her adulterous affair. Lord this is a dear brother in Christ who has been heart-broken by his wife�s betrayal, and we pray that You would touch him at his very point of need and fill his heart with Your special comfort and peace � so that he may know that You are His heavenly Comforter, Who can heal his deepest pain - and that You are his ever present Helper, in this time of deep suffering. We lift up his straying wife to You too.. and pray that You would touch her conscience, soften her heart bring her to the point of true repentance. We pray that she may recognize her sin and ask his forgiveness, (and for Yours Lord, too) and we pray that she may return her to her marriage relationship, with a better understanding of the unique bond between a man and his wife, which is so precious in Your sight and which can never be replaced or duplicated. Dear God, my husband is undergoing surgery and I feel so alone when he is not around. Lord, please help me to trust You in this situation. I realise that all the securities upon which I have been resting are being taken down one by one, including my husband upon whom I rely so heavily.Lord Jesus, I know that I could become fearful and afraid, knowing that I have depended upon him so much in the past. But Lord, I can also see Your hand in this for I know that in my heart that it is You upon Whom I should depend and You in Whom I should place my trust, and Lord, that is what I am doing now. Be with us both I pray. Uphold us with Your righteous right hand and keep us trusting fully in You for the right and best outcome and for the strength to go through this surgery.Lord, I do lift up my heart in prayer to You and ask that You would be with my husband and me as he faces this operation. I pray that You would give the doctors and nurses the skill to bring him back to full health and strength. But no matter what the outcome, I pray that You would give us the strength to trust all our tomorrows into Your hands, for I believe that Your grace is sufficient for all our trials and tests in life. Heavenly Father, I thank You for my family and bless You that You placed me in this home. Thank You for the parents You gave me and the friends and family that You have placed in my life. Help us to draw ever closer to each other in the bond of love and fellowship, and may You become the central focus of our home, our hearts and our family more and more with every passing day. And I pray that the influence of Your love and grace in our lives, will reach out to all with whom we have to do.May our hearts be united in love for You and may there be Christian harmony, one with the other. Dear God, thank You for saving me, and Lord, although my faith in You has had a big positive impact on much of my life, it has had a negative impact on my relationship with my wife.Father, You know that my wife and I have grown so distant since I trusted in Jesus, and now we have become separated, and she is even seeking a divorce, which is causing me much distress. Father, although it saddens my heart so much, I just want to leave this pain in Your hands, and ask You Lord to heal the hurt that I feel, for Your grace is sufficient. I also ask that You would soften her heart towards You. Lord, I pray that if it is possible, You would bring us back together and reunite us into our marriage relationship, but no matter what happens between us Lord, I pray that she may one day come to trust in the Lord Jesus as her Saviour, and be brought into Your heavenly kingdom. Heavenly Father, we grieve for the pain that adultery causes in the lives of so many and we particularly lift up this precious sister in Christ, whose heart is aching due to her husband�s betrayal and adultery. Reach out Your righteous right hand in pity and love we pray, and touch her hurting heart with the comfort that only comes from above. We pray that she may know Your steadfast love shining within her heart and feel Your presence with her, every moment of the day - as she has seeks to come to terms with her husband�s disloyalty. Lord, she is Your dearly loved daughter and her husband has been drawn away from her side, due to the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eye and the pride of life. Bring this man to the foot of the cross in godly repentance; return him to his rightful mind and heal the brokenness that this dear woman feels in this matrimonial betrayal. Only You can heal her broken-hearted and free her mind from any destructive imaginations that have been triggered.. and may she see that You are not only with her.. to be her comfort and help, but also that You are working towards a restoration and reconciliation between herself and her husband. Help her to look to You in all things.. and give her the courage to trust this situation into Your hand � and we pray that in Your time and in Your way You would once again restore to them the joy of being united in love, as man and wife.. this we ask in Jesus name, Amen
Oh Lord Jesus, how difficult life has become due to my husbands excessive drinking of alcohol, well it is now really become alcohol addiction. Life has become so hard, almost unbearable, and his temper is at times out of control, and Lord, I am beginning to fear for our safety.�Lord, You know that this is splitting our family apart and at times I despair that this addiction to alcohol will ever be overcome. Lord, it has not only affected his moods and his increasingly uncaring attitude toward me, but it is affecting his work and I am wondering if he may actually lose his job as a result of this.��Father, it is painful to see someone You love in this pitiful state and I pray for Your guidance and strength to be able to deal with this in a way that honours You, but also for the wisdom to know what to do and how to help my husband.�Lord, I know that it may be a dangerous prayer to pray, but I ask that whatever it takes You would bring my husband to the point of desperation, where You are the only Person to Whom he can turn, as I know that only You can intervene in this addiction and return him to his normal mind.�Father, at times I feel weak and unable to cope and yet I know that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Lord, I know that Your grace is sufficient for me and ask that You would remain close to me, to lead and to guide, so that I would know what to do to help him overcome his alcohol addition and encourage him to turn to Jesus, in Whose name I pray,�Amen. �Christ has liberated us into freedom. Therefore stand firm and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery.� (Galatians 5:1)
Oh Lord, I am devastated, as the wife, I love so dearly has become almost estranged from me. She has started drinking.. and it is a habit that is almost out of control. Forgive me Lord for not seeing the tell-tale signs earlier, but I have been so busy with my work schedule, that I have only really begun to understand the devastating effect that alcohol has had on my dear wife. I have to call it what it is � alcoholism � and it grieves me that she has changed almost out of recognition and has little interest in the home, or me, or the children � or anything else. I pray with all my heart that You would help me to help my wife reverse this destructive habit, and return her to the loving,�caring �wife�I remember.� Give me the strength and wisdom to support her so that she may be set free from her alcohol addiction � I believe Your grace is sufficient even to cope with this and I pray that whatever it takes..�You will bring her back from this dependency on drink and�to�return her into Your loving arms � and mine � this I ask in Jesus name, Amen
Thank You, Lord, that You always hear and answer the prayer that is asked in faith and in accordance with your will, and Lord I lift up my wife to You now, knowing that she has not accepted Jesus as her Saviour and we seem to be drifting further and further apart from each other, as our whole outlook on life has become so very different. Lord, I know You are full of mercy and goodness and I pray that You would change the heart of my wife so that she develops a deep desire to know You and to trust You and to follow You. I pray that You would use me to be an example to my spouse. Give me wisdom to know how to respond to some of her negativity and give me the mind of Christ I pray, so that I may respond in spirit and in love, accordance with your will. Heavenly Father, thank You for the many gifts and graces You give to Your children and for the people that come into our lives who mean so much to us. Thank You for the sweet fellowship we enjoy with brothers and sisters in Christ, and Lord, how good it is to walk when members of Your body live together in love and unity.Deepen we pray, the bonds of fellowship within the body of Christ and may our hearts be knit together in love in Christ Jesus. Forgive us for the times when our fleshly natures have broken or damaged the precious relationships we have with each other in Christ, and keep us we pray, walking in love, knowing that we are a spiritual house joined together as one in Him.Thank You, Lord, for those special people and relationships you have placed in my life with whom I enjoy a close bond of unity. May we encourage and edify each other as we wait for the any day return of the Lord Jesus in the air to claim His church for Himself. Loving Lord, how I bless You for the heritage and gift of children and I do thank You, Father, for having given us our beautiful daughter to love and cherish and care for. I thank You with all my heart for our precious girl, whom I love so dearly.�I pray Lord, that as she grows-up she will grow closer to You with each passing year and that You would give her wisdom and discernment to know what is right and to reject that which is not of You. I pray that by Your Holy Spirit, she would cultivate in her, the spiritual graces of a godly woman and I pray that You would bring into her life the man of Your choice, to be her future husband.�I pray Lord, that he would be a true man of God. A man after God�s own heart, who will be a spiritual leader to his wife and family, a man who is established in the Word of God.�I pray that he would be a man of integrity and patience, with wisdom and understanding, a man who is trustworthy and loyal, a man with strength of character and godly humility. Heavenly Father, what a joy it is to see our lovely daughter grow up and become such a radiant bride and beautiful wife. We pray that as she sets out on her journey through married life that You would lead and direct her and her husband in their lives together, and that together they would give You Your rightful place in their home and married life together.�Thank You for the joy she has been over the years, and thank You that I have been enabled by Your grace to release her from our parental protection and encourage her fly with her own wings. May she learn to find her primary support from in her own dear husband rather then her seeking refuge back home with us or with her friends!�May You be given Your rightful place in their home and may it be a place of peace and trust. May she and her husband grow closer together with each passing year, and may they find that in each other they have all that they need in a secure marriage partnership, anchored on Jesus, the Rock of their Salvation. Heavenly Father, thank You that You are my God and Saviour and that You have scheduled every day of my life and are teaching me so gently to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to make the longings of my heart known to You, Lord.�Lord, You know the desire deep within my heart that You bring that precious partner to me, with whom I may spend my life. I pray that You would bring the right man to me to be my future husband, that special one with whom I may spend my future, and I pray that You would bring him to me at the right time and in the right way.�Lord, I don�t know what You have planned for my future, but I do know that Your plans and purposes for me are so much better than my own, and that You already know what tomorrow holds. Heavenly Father, I bring before you this increasingly difficult relationship that I am in and pray that by Your grace, I may be willing to learn the lessons that You would teach me through this problematic time. Lord, I know that relationships are not always easy, but we seem to have slid into a constant cycle of hostility and accusations. Forgive me for the part I have played in developing this bitterness and ill-feeling between us, and I pray that You would help me repent of this wrong attitude, and turn right away from my own natural, fleshly reactions and start to walk in spirit and truth. Lord, I know that I cannot do this in my own strength but only in the power of the Holy Spirit. And so Lord, I pray that I may be willing to listen to Your promptings and to submit to Your training and chastening hand on my life. Help me each day to lay my life before You and to search my own heart, so that I may identify any seeds of my own bitterness and hostility � and I pray that I may be honest in my assessment of my own faults and failings. Teach me Your way and endow me with wisdom, grace and counsel, so that the damage to our relationship may be repaired by Your grace. Help me to live my life as the person that You would have me be, and in a manner that is pleasing in Your sight. Guard my heart and all that proceeds from my lips, and may my words be seasoned with salt and pleasing to the Father. Thank You, Lord, that You are a God Who hears and answers the prayers of Your children, and I pray that you would graciously renew a right spirit, within this relationship. I come to You Lord in the name of Jesus, to lift up my husband in prayer, knowing that he is getting increasingly reliant on drugs. They started in an attempt to help him through a difficult patch, but Lord, I know that he is now almost addicted to them and it is having a bad effect on his health and personality.�Lord, please release my husband from this reliance on drugs and in the name of Jesus, I stand against all the evil influences that these drugs are having on him, and ask that Your grace and protection would surround him.�Into Your hands I release my husband, and ask that You would give us both the strength and wisdom to know what to do, so that the bad effects that the drugs he is taking can be reduced or if possible removed. Lord I know that You are able to deliver him for his reliance on drugs. Help my unbelief I pray, as You did that man in the Bible so many years ago. I ask this in Jesus' name,�Amen.
Lord, inspire those men and women who bear the titles "Husband" and "Wife". Help them to look to You to themselves to one another to rediscover the fullness and mystery they once felt in their union. Let them be honest enough to ask: "Where have we been together and where are we going? Let them be brave enough to question: "How have we failed?" Let each be foolhardy enough to say: "For me, we come first". Help them, together to reexamine their commitment in the light of Your love, willingly, openly, compassionately. One Hail Mary... Dear Lord, You created us male and female and designed us as relational beings, to live together in a marriage partnership, and yet we know that there are many who discover themselves to be lonely and often unloved or even rejected in their marriages.�We pray for all those that are suffering this sort of loneliness, whether it is from rejection, carelessness, abuse or disinterest, and pray that Your comfort and peace would fill their hearts and that Your very presence would comfort their souls.�Restore what has gone sour in such marriages we pray, heal the brokenness and isolation and comfort each aching heart, and we ask that You would draw them back into sweet fellowship with one another and come to know You in a deeper and more meaningful way. Loving Lord, my heart is breaking as I feel so very lonely and alone in my marriage. Father, I know that this is not how You ordained marriage to be in the beginning but I feel so unloved, unwanted and isolated that my heart is breaking and I just long to have a normal relationship with my spouse, whom I love dearly, but who seems so distant and far removed from me.�Lord, we seem to pass as ships in the night and I don�t know what to do except turn to You and pour out my grief to You, Who calls each one of us to cast all our cares upon You and to lay all of our burdens down at Your feet.�Loving Lord, I know that You can do anything and I know that it is not Your will that marriage partners become so estranged from one another, and so I pray that in Your grace, You would touch both our hearts and work a mighty work of grace in our lives and show us how to rebuild our marriage on the only secure foundation, which is Jesus. Oh God, I am hurting and my grief is almost more than I can bear. Losing my spouse has been the most devastating event that has ever happened to me and I feel that I can hardly draw another breath because my loss is so acute. Lord Jesus, the loss of my spouse has caused a gaping hole in my life, which has become so acute that I seem to have be permanently numb through the pain of it all. Help me, I pray.�It seems as if all my life and strength has been drained from me and I feel so alone and so very, very lonely as well. I begin to realise how much we relied upon each other, and now I am alone and nothing seems sufficient to fill the gaping void. But Lord, I know that You came to comfort the broken-hearted. You came to lead us beside still waters and to gently carry up upon Your shoulder during those times when every ounce of strength has failed. You came to give beauty for ashes and to renew our strength with Your sufficient grace and Your never-failing love. Please help me to come through this sad time, I pray.�Refresh my soul and renew my spirit within me. Be my light in this dark period of my life, and may the light of Your love shine on my path and lighten the heaviness of my load. �Thank You that You are my Saviour and that I can rely on You when there is no one else for me. Lord, You know that my husband has been living a lie and is deeply embroiled in the sin of fornication and adultery. Father I pray that You would move speedily in this distressing situation.. and I ask that he would stop seeing this other woman.. and that this ungodly relationship will be brought to an end. I pray that You would intervene, as only You can.. to bring this on-going, adulterous relationship to final closure. Lord.. distressing though this situation is, I know that You are a God who can mend broken relationships and I pray that in Your goodness and grace You would restore our marriage and renew my husbands love for me. I pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and that he would turn from his fascination with this other woman to Jesus - for saving grace. Living in a marriage triangle is getting more than I can bear and I pray that You would give me the sufficient grace I need to deal with this situation.. and the sufficient strength to live godly in Christ Jesus - despite the deep grief and pain I am going through.� I earnestly pray for my husband to turn away from his wicked ways and look to Christ as Saviour, for I know that without Him, �my husband will be enslaved to sin and remain without hope in the world.. - lost in his trespasses and wallowing in immoral acts.. Thank You that it is not Your will that anyone should perish.. but that all come to faith in Jesus. Help me Lord, �to trust Your good work in both of our lives, and may I learn to wait patiently for You to fulfill Your perfect plan in both our lives.. in Jesus name I pray, Amen
Lord, my wife is cheating on me and it is so painful, and so I come to You in the name of Jesus to not only lay my marriage � but my entire life at Your feet. I pray that in Your grace,. the bond between the wife that I love, and this other man will be shattered completely.. and that You would remove the attraction they have for one another - and break any hold that he may have over her. Lord I pray that You would do a miracle in the heart of my wife and help her to see how wrong she is to jeopardise our marriage in this way. Convict her of her sin.. and bring her to Your throne of grace in godly repentance, and with a total change of heart. But I also pray that You would do a work in my own heart � because my intense anger and jealousy is boiling within, because the pain is so acute. Lord I know that marriages today are being attacked by the enemy, but I never thought that I would be affected in this way, with my own wife cheating on me.. but I ask that You would do something to terminate this extra-marital affair and return the wife of my youth into my arms once more � this I ask in Jesus name, Amen
Dear Father, You are the God of peace, Who heals all our ailments and cares for all those that love and trust You. Lord, You know the many pressures my dear husband has been facing, from both his work and from the family, and Father, I am concerned that it seems to be affecting his health. Lord, this additional stress seems to be making my husband irritable and I know that he is finding it increasingly difficult to sleep at night. I know that You care about each of Your children and are interested in every area of our lives, and so I pray that You would ease the stress and pressure that seems to be mounting up in our lives and quickly remove it, and please Lord, help my husband to rest in You and to cast all His care upon You, day by day. Thank You, Lord, for being there for us and I pray that You would hold us both in Your arms of love.�Amen.
Dear Lord Jesus, my heart is aching as my husband has betrayed me and has found his sexual needs fulfilled in the arms of another � and I am devastated and pray that You would carry me through this intensely painful time. Lord I feel betrayed and it is a pain that is inexpressible, and I ask You to reach out Your healing arms of comfort and help me to come to terms with what has happened. Lord I know that in everything by prayer and supplication � (and even with thanksgiving) we are to make our requests known to You.. I wish this had never happened.. but it has, and I ask You to show me what to do and how to come to terms with this sadness. Show me I pray, how to move forward and help me to save my marriage. Lord I know that his adultery is a sin against You as well as me and I pray that my husband will see the error of his way and turn away from this ungodly liaison and seek Your forgiveness � and mine. I know that You have the power to move mountains and I pray that this great barrier that has been erected between us.. will be removed by Your grace �- but I also know that he has to be willing to turn away from his own sin - but I pray that Your Holy Spirit would deeply convict his heart of his serious wrongdoing. Father I believe that the enemy has been involved in causing my husband to fall into sin.. in this vulnerable area of his life. I believe that the enemy desires to shatter our marriage and leave in its wake many ruined lives and many hurting people, but Lord I pray that the wiles of the enemy may be thwarted and that my husband will turn from his wrong, sexual liaison and adulterous ways - and turn back to a godly way of life. This is my pray Lord.. Help me to come to terms with it. Help me to forgive.. Help me to more forward in my life but also help us to rebuild our marriage on a firm foundation �- where You are the One that leads and guides our future life together � this I ask in Jesus name, Amen
How I thank You for the love my wife has for You Lord, and for the quiet strength she demonstrates in her prayerfulness. Thank You for the example she is to me and to others, of a woman who has placed Jesus at the rightful centre of her life, and home. Lord, there was a time when I did not understand and was a little confused, irritated and even jealous of her prayer-life, but Lord, thank You for showing me the amazing gift that I have received from You in the person of my praying wife, and also for the amazing grace and gift of prayer that You have bestowed on her.�Lord, just as her prayers have so often sustained me as I have faced some of life�s difficulties, I now lift up my precious wife to You in grateful praise asking that You would sustain her and encourage her in her prayer life. Be her rock and support, especially in those times when she may become weary of well-doing. Show me Lord, how I may be supportive toward her and thank You Father, for giving me my praying wife. Dear Father God, please be with my dear wife as she faces this operation. Oh Lord, so often we travel through life without a care or worry, until something like this lands in our laps, and Lord I am sorry that I have not been as faithful in my prayers to You. Nonetheless, I pray that You would hear my plea and see fit to bring my wife through this operation, and restore her back to full health and strength.Lord, it is at times like these that we are brought to a sudden realisation of how much friends, family and especially my wife mean to me and I know that in many respects I have taken my wife for granted. But I do thank You for her love and devotion to me and to You Lord Jesus, and pray that You would give her the peace that only comes from You and the strength to go through this operation, trusting You in all things.Give those that are involved in the surgery the necessary wisdom and skill to carry out the operation well, so that she returns to full health and strength in the days that lie ahead. Dear Lord, my marriage has almost fallen apart and I hardly know when things started to go wrong. Things have become increasingly difficult and fraught and the love that we once had for each other seems to be dying. I hate the thought of divorce and was shocked when it was first suggested.� I come to You Lord, asking that You guide and direct us both in this increasingly hurtful situation. Lord, I don�t want us to separate or get divorced. I pray that in some wonderful way You will use this as a wake-up call for us both to seek You with all our hearts, and to change the way we treat each other. I pray that we may begin to apply proper biblical principles in our marriage, rather than dragging each other down by what we say, or don�t say. Lord, I know that by my attitude and actions, I have not been the husband/wife that You would have wanted me to be, but rather have not considered my spouse in the way that would please You. I pray that it may not be too late for reconciliation and ask that in Your grace and mercy, You would enable us both to move forward together, by placing You in Your rightful position as ultimate head of our family. Protect the innocent parties in our failing marriage and forgive me for all my foolish actions. Make me the man/woman that You would have me to be. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You, that You are the One Who heals the broken hearted and sets the captives free. Thank You, that You are the one that knows every intimate detail about our lives, and Who sticks closer than a brother. Thank You, Lord, that You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us but desire to give all your children the peace that passes understanding, as we look to Jesus and secure our hearts upon Him. Thank You also, that You were the one that instituted marriage and ordained that a man should leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and that she in turn would honour and submit to her own husband under biblical principles. Lord, I confess that our marriage has become stale and the spark of love between us has become dim over time, so that we have become cool towards each other and careless towards You. Forgive us for allowing ourselves to slowly slide into this state of lukewarm love for each other and indifference towards You. And so I ask for healing in our marriage and a revival of the love that we once had for each other. Help us together to seek You, and to once again build up our relationship into a happy, harmonious unity where Jesus is returned to His rightful position in our lives. Father, I confess that because we have become careless in our relationship with You, our relationship with each other also suffered. Renew a right spirit within us both, and may we seek first the Lord Jesus and His righteousness, knowing that a marriage that is grounded in Him is the only way for a relationship to truly be blessed. Heavenly Father, our marriage is becoming increasingly stressful and I hardly know where we went wrong, but it seems that we are both getting increasingly tense about so many little things that we are taking it out on each other, and Father, I fear that unless this pressure in our marriage is addressed, we will drift further and further apart.�Lord, I know that life is never easy and unless we cope rightly with life�s pressures, we become victims of stress which can so often lead to depression or even worse. Lord, please help us both us to address the mounting stress in our marriage in the right way, Show us what we need to do individually and as a couple to bring us through this stressful period, and help us both to depend on You to guide us along the right path into the way of peace and unity.�Forgive me for not seeking Your help sooner but Lord, if there are areas in life that we need to address in order to reduce the stresses in our marriage, please show men and give me the wisdom and grace to recognize Your gentle promptings in my life.�Bless our marriage I pray, and may we both learn to cope with the stresses and pressures in our marriage, as we seek to grow closer to each other and to You. God of power and might, at every moment and in every place you are near to those who call upon your name in faith. In marriage you have blessed us with a share in your divine love. Look upon my husband/wife and keep him/her in your safekeeping, no matter where the road may lead. And when the battle is ended, bring him/her safely home to those who love him. Heavenly Father, I love my wife but am grieved to discover that she is becoming increasingly reliant on drugs and it is having a really bad effect on her, on our family, on me and on our relationship. Lord, in Your mercy and grace, please help her I pray, and show me how I can support her through this difficult and distressing time, so that she may be freed from the bad effects that these drugs are having.�Lord, I know that this is a problem that many women are facing, and I know that there are many other husbands like me that are facing the same difficulties of broken hearts, destroyed lives and damaged relationships, and so I lift up all men and husbands who like myself, find themselves in this same situation.�Show me Lord what to do, I pray. I am looking to You and relying on You to help me in this time of need. I ask this in humility of heart and brokenness of spirit, knowing that You alone have the ability and power to bring us through and to free her from the reliance she now has on these drugs. Father God, what can I say? My wife has walked out on me saying that she can�t stand to be with me and that she no longer loves me. How can this be? I worked so hard to provide for everything that she wanted, but now that times are hard, she wants me out of her life forever, and has asked for a divorce. Forgive me, Lord, for my part in this rift that has developed between my wife and me. Perhaps I put too much weight on providing for the comforts of life, without being the loving comforter she may have needed. Perhaps I looked too much outside the walls of my home for my own comforts too, and became too easily flattered by others who seem attracted to me.Forgive me for letting my marriage fail to the point where we may be separated, and even divorced. But thank You Lord, for all You did for me at the cross of Calvary. I know that there is no sin that I have committed in thought, word or deed that was not dealt with by the cross, for we are told that the only sin that cannot be forgiven is unbelief in Jesus, and I trust in Jesus Christ as my Saviour.�Lord, I pray that our marriage will not end in divorce, but that by Your grace You would bring us back together again, to start afresh, with You at the helm of our home, rather than with me thinking I had to prove myself. Thank You, Jesus, for being there for me. Amen.
O Lord, holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, we give you thanks and we bless your holy name. You created man and woman in your image and blessed their union, so that each would be for the other a help and support. Remember us today. Protect us and grant that our love may be in the image of the devotion and love of Christ for his Church. Grant us a long and fruitful life together, in joy and in peace, so that, through your Son and in the Holy Spirit, our hearts may always rise to you in praise and goods works. Amen.
Lord Jesus, grant that I and my spouse may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self. Dear God, It says in the Bible that it is not good for a man to be alone and Lord, it is not good for a woman to be alone either. You made us to be joined as one and to be united in love, and I pray that you will bring into my life a loving husband that is just right for me, a husband that I can cherish. Lord, You made men and women to be joined as one in the bond of marriage, and I pray that You give me a good and godly man that will be able to be my spiritual protector. Dear Father God, there are so many marriages that are failing, which are leaving relationships devastated, lives fractured and hearts stricken with grief. And so today, I want to lift up all those that are struggling with a marriage relationship that is falling apart, and pray Your healing touch on so many who are facing separation or even divorce. I ask that in Your mercy, You would look down in pity and enable many of these fractured lives to be renewed by the touch of your mighty hand. I lift up all that are in a marriage relationship, and pray that You would strengthen the bond of love and unity between them, so that their relationship may become stronger with each passing year. May forgiveness and grace, forbearance and peace become flowers in their heart that blossoms into the fruit of the Spirit in their lives, and may each husband and wife consider the needs of the other before they consider their own. Establish I pray, healthy marriage relationships, which are grounded on biblical principles, where the Lord Jesus is the focus of their lives and the bedrock upon which their marriage is secured. May broken hearts and broken families be reunited in the love of Jesus, and may their children rise up and call their parents �blessed� as they see their parents honouring their Saviour, Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we come to You to lift up the increasing numbers of couples that are facing adultery in their marriages � both the one that is feeling betrayed and let down by an unfaithful spouse.. and the one that has been foolishly led astray, by sexual sins and the gratification of the flesh. We ask that You would intervene in all marriages where adultery and infidelity are taking place.. and pray for Your healing hand on every life that is touched by the destructive nature of adultery.. and each marriage that has been impacted and devastated by sexual sins and infidelity in their marriages We ask You to intervene in each situation where infidelity, fornication and adultery has caused such sadness, pain and loss of trust. We also pray that You would revive the marriages of couples that have gone through the painful discovery that their spouse has been unfaithful and the devastating repercussions that are caused through the adultery of ones marriage partners. We pray that You would disentangle the web of deceit that is woven through an adulterous relationship and ask that in Your goodness and grace You would touch the hearts of both partners, so that godly repentance may be received with godly forgiveness � we ask this in Jesus name, Amen
Heavenly Father, I am grieved in my spirit and come to You with a heavy heart, knowing that my husband has become chronically addicted to gambling.�It started off quite innocuously, but has developed into a cruel and terrible gambling addiction and I ask that in Your grace, You would convict his heart of this dreadful compulsion, and help him to break free from his gambling habit once and for all.�Father, he seems unaware that he is hurting me and the family so deeply, and I pray that You would give me Your sufficient grace and strength to get through each day and to maintain some degree of sanity in our home.�Lord, I pray that whatever it takes that You would arrest his attention and bring Him to a realisation of what destruction this gambling habit has brought upon himself and his family. Please bring him to deep repentance before Your throne of grace, I pray. Convict him Lord, of His need of Jesus and give him the realisation that he must break free from his compulsive gambling habit. .�Lord, I pray forgiveness for the wrong things that my husband has done to me and the family, and I ask that You would protect us from any anger outbursts. Bring him to deep repentance, so that we may live our married life as You intended. I ask this in Jesus' name,�Amen.
Heavenly Father, we have come to understand that there are many �families that are experiencing a broken mother-daughter relationship and yet the bond between a mother and her daughter is such a blessing and should blossom into a most special affinity and closeness� and so we lift up all those that are facing this sort of distressing family rift, and ask that You would bind up any brokenness and pain in these hurting women, so that a beautiful affinity between them may be renewed and strengthened.. in the days to come. We pray that any confrontation that has been caused by emotional stress, a lack of understanding, or a disconnection between the generations may be healed and strengthened by Your goodness and grace. We pray that when a mother-daughter relationship has been fractured that both parties would seek to discover areas in their own life where they can make changes.. so that each can start to recognise the needs of the other, and in so doing develop the special closeness between a mother and her daughter, which can be so rewarding. We pray that in the many mother-daughter relationships that are going through such difficulties, that Jesus may receive his rightful place in each of their lives, knowing that He is the only one who can heal our hurt and restore the years that the locusts have eaten. Loving Lord, losing my wife is so hard and I feel so alone and helpless right now. I know Lord, that death is not the end for those that trust in You, but it is still hard to have to face a life without my dear wife at my side. I know there were some occasions when I took her for granted, but she meant so much to me and her life was such a beautiful reflection of the Lord Jesus, and now that she has gone, I realise the big gap that she has left.�Keep me Lord from self-pity, which seems to be the emotion that is surfacing quite a lot, and replace it with a thankful heart for the good times we had together. Give me a spirit of peace I pray, and hope in believing, knowing death is only a door through which we all will one day pass.�Thank You for the time that we did spend together, and I ask You to give me respite from the sadness I feel, renewed hope in Christ�s promises and fresh insight into all that I am in Christ. ��Comfort my heart, knowing that we will one day meet up again on the heavenly shore and may I live my life looking to Jesus. Dear Father God, I am so distressed because my wife of many years has walked out on me, intending to carve out a future without me. Oh Lord, she is my wife and I love her so dearly, but we are now estranged from each other and my life is falling apart without her. I need You Lord, to uphold me with Your gracious right hand and pray that in Your time and Your way, You would reconcile our differences and enable us to move forward with greater love and understanding than we had before. Forgive me Lord, for the part that I played in causing this estrangement between us to develop, without recognising the signs that were happening. Lord, I was not the husband I could have been, of should have been, and though there were faults on both sides, I pray that You will help us to reconcile the difficulties between us, bring us back together and reunite us in love again. Lord, I pray that I may learn to love as You loved us, knowing that love suffers long, and thinks for the other. Help me Lord, to be the husband I should be. Dear God, I am coming to ask You to provide me with the wife that I have longed for, for so many years, and pray that You would bring into my life a beautiful woman to be my bride, who radiates an inner beauty that comes from a heart that loves You with her whole being.Lord, You know that it is not good for any man to be alone and so You created Eve to be the unique and perfect helper for Adam. Father, I believe that You are still able to furnish anyone who seeks You with a good wife who will be a soul-mate and precious companion and lover.Lord, finding a wife is perhaps the most important thing in any man�s life and Your Word tells us that, �He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord�, I don�t want to do this on my own, and so I ask that You would lead and guide me. Give me the wisdom and insight to know which woman that You would choose for me. Help me to make the right choices and prepare me Lord, for all that lies ahead as I seek to wait patiently for the lady that I believe You have chosen for me. In Jesus' name I pray,Amen.
Heavenly Father, I come to You Lord to place the longings of my heart before You. I know Lord, that You Who did not spare Your only begotten Son, but gave Him up for me have promised to graciously give us all things, and Lord I deeply desire to have a partner, to have a wife, to love and to cherish.Lord, I know that You have plans for my life and I do not want to run ahead of You. Help me to be patient as I wait in faith for You to bring the right person into my life. Lord, You have told us that it is not good for a man to be alone and You were the one that provided Eve for Adam, Rebekah for Isaac and Ruth for Boaz, and Lord I pray that You will bring the right woman into my life to be my own precious help-meet.Lord, Your Word says that He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favour from the Lord. Dear Lord God, I thank You for my life and for the way that You have led me thus far. Lord, the deepening desire in my heart is for a loving husband, a man of God with whom I can spend the rest of my life in a marriage union.I ask Lord, that You would bring the right man into my life, a man after God�s own heart. I pray that the one that You would choose for me would be a mature man of God as well as becoming the spiritual leader of our home, and that his love and devotion for me would only be exceeded by the love that He has for You.Lord, I pray that I will not be impatient in my waiting for the right man to come along, but rather that You would teach and train me and make me emotionally ready for the man that You would choose for me.Father, up to this point in time, I thank You for the blessings I have received by being single, and thank You for the way that You have led and guided me in every aspect of my life and work and prepared my heart to approach You on the subject of marriage. Loving Father, how precious it is to be free to come before Your throne of grace to worship You and to find grace to help in time of need. Lord, I desire to live godly in Christ Jesus, to carry out the works of righteousness that You have prepared for me to do in the strength of Your Holy Spirit, and I pray that I may grow in grace and in a knowledge of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, with each passing day.Lord, it is my deepest desire to live according to Your will and You have instructed us to delight yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart. Father, I do delight myself in Your grace and faithfulness towards me, and at the moment it is my joy to live as a single woman and to find all my hope and strength and comfort in You, and I praise You Lord, that You have been my constant companion and pray that You continue to be the �husband� of my life and the one to whom I turn day by day.Lord, I also ask that if it is Your will, that in Your time and in Your way that You would provide a godly man with whom I can share my life and future, a Christian husband whose love for me is only exceeded by His deep love and devotion for You.Thank You for the dear friends that You have already seen fit to bring into my life and I praise Your name for all Your goodness and loving kindness towards me in so many ways, for the work that I do and the joy that I have not only with friends but my family too. Lord Jesus, grant that I and my spouse may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self. May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection. Amen.
Dear Lord Jesus, a wedding is always a happy and joyous occasion, reflecting that future day when the Lord Jesus will come in the clouds to claim His Bride, the Church. I rejoice over this marriage and pray that the pledges the groom and bride make to one another, come from a sincere heart that places You in the rightful position in their union together, knowing that a Christ-centred marriage is one that can stand the pressures of life.�May their home be a place of peace and harmony, and may all their cares and anxieties be handed over to You, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Bless them both Lord, bless them as they start their life together and throughout the years that lie ahead. And with the passage of time, I pray that You will remain in Your rightful position in their hearts and home, so that they may be a true Christian witness of Your grace in their lives. Oh God I have been so selfish and foolish and I am ashamed of my sinful behaviour.. and for foolishly seeking for fleshly pleasures outside of the marriage bed. Lord I was flattered that a younger woman who was interested in me, and I allowed myself to lust after the fleeting pleasures of sex, which has led me into fornication and adultery - and I grieve to realise the deep pain I have caused my wife and the whole family, I never thought that I would ever fall prey to the flattering talk of another woman, but I did not heed to the warning signs and have caused grief to myself, my family, and to so many other people too � but also I know that I have sinned against You, and I confess my fault.. and pray that You would graciously forgive me and return me into fellowship with the Father, and joy in the Lord. Lord forgive me I pray. I repent of my sin and want turn right away from my ungodly behaviour, and pray that in the power of the Holy Spirit, You would help me. Lord I now know how easy it is to fall prey to sexual sin, but I desire to flee from fleshly lust and to remain pure in body, soul and spirit. I pray that my wife would find it in her heart to forgive my and take me back � oh graciously look down upon Your servant I pray. I ask that You would enable me to show her that I have truly turned away from my adulterous behaviour and ask that in Your strength I would learn how to live godly in Christ Jesus � this I ask in His name, Amen
Forgive me Lord.., I have sinned against You and followed after my own selfish way. I been drawn away from my husband�s side, who loves me - and whom I love dearly, into the arms of another man, due to my own lustful desires and foolish pride. I know adultery is so wrong and yet I refused to listen to the warning promptings from within.. even through I knew that out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies � and of course adultery. I confess my infidelity before You Lord and my sin is ever before me.. and yet I know that You are a gracious God.. Who forgives the sins of Your truly repentant children. Cleanse me from this evil behaviour, which has caused so much heartache and pain for so many different people. Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow, and in Your grace �and mercy, I pray that I may not have destroyed our marriage forever.. but that in Your pity and mercy You would help us to renew our wedding vows, so that we may step out into the future together, strengthened by this painful period but trusting in You to guide us into deeper communion with each other.. and with You.. this I ask in Jesus name, Amen
God, help me I pray. I have tried to be a good wife for many years and to stay with my husband and to be the wife he wanted, but things are just going from bad to worse. His drinking and other habits are becoming so difficult to cope with, that I feel the only course of action is to go through a divorce. It saddens me, as I love my husband Lord, but I fear for what he is likely to do to the children and to me when he becomes so aggressive. Protect us Lord, protect the children I pray, and help us to escape from this bitter marriage. Help me Lord. Show me what to do. Lead me through this painful process and bring me out the other side I pray. I will trust in You and not be afraid. Thank You that You are always there for me. Amen.
Dear Father God, I love my spouse, but Father we have drifted apart in so many different ways, and erected so many walls of defence to hide behind, that communication between us is becoming increasingly difficult. Break down the walls of selfishness and silence that we have both erected for different reasons, and unite us together in the love of Jesus. Help us to unmask the camouflage with which we have both chosen to clothe ourselves and change us both Lord. Change us from the inside out, so that Jesus may be seen in both of our lives. Change our relationship I pray, and help us both to start of building our future together on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, the only Rock of our salvation. I do thank You Father for my spouse, and I pray that You would intervene to change our relationship for the better. I ask Father, that You would start the work in me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Oh dear God, I seem to be unable to do anything right for my parents and when they are not shouting at each other, they join together to pick on me. I am finding that life at home is becoming unbearable. Lord Jesus, all I want to do is to get out of the house and live my life somewhere else, quietly, somewhere that is not constantly a battleground. In my heart Lord, I know that running away is not the answer, but I also know that You do have all the answers to all our difficulties. So I ask that You would change the dynamics of our home so that all the bickering stops. Change things at home I pray, and change each one of us to become more considerate to the needs of each other. I know that this is what Jesus would do.Lord, I also know that both my parents are unhappy and life is not as good as it used to be. I love my parents Lord, and pray that You would do something to make our home a place of hope and peace and safety. Lord, I pray that You would help my parents to draw closer to each other and to You Lord, as they did in the past. Change our relationship for the better. May we all become what You would have us be, so that as a family we can be more like Jesus. In His name I pray,Amen.
O merciful Lord God, who in the beginning didst take Eve out of the side of Adam and didst give her to him as a helpmate: grant me grace to live worthy of the honorable estate of matrimony to which Thou hast called me, that I may love my husband with a pure and chaste love, acknowledging him as my head, and truly reverencing and obeying him in all good things; that thereby I may please him, and live with him in all Christian serenity. Keep me from all worldliness and vanity. Help me, O Lord, that I may, under him, prudently and discreetly guide and govern his household. Let no fault of mine aggravate any sins by which he may be especially tempted; enable me to soothe him in perplexity, to cheer him in difficulty, to refresh him in weariness, and, as far as may be, to advise him in doubt. [Give me understanding so to fulfil my part in the education of our children, that they may be our joy in this world and our glory in the next.] Grant that our perfect union here may be the beginning of the still more perfect and blissful union hereafter in Thy kingdom; and this I pray through Jesus Christ our Lord.
