Lord, I awake and see your light, For You have kept me through the night, To You I lift my hands and pray, Keep me from sin throughout this day, And if I die before it's done, Save me through Jesus Christ, Your Son.
O Lord God, King of heaven and earth, may it please Thee this day to order and to hallow, to rule and to govern our hearts and our bodies, our thoughts, our words and our works, according to Thy law and in the doing of Thy commandments, that we, being helped by Thee, may here and hereafter worthily be saved and delivered by Thee, O Saviour of the world, who livest and reignest forever and ever. Amen.
Thank you, Father, for the many benefits I have today. Thank You for my life, for drawing me to Yourself and bringing me into Your family, as a child of God. Thank You for saving me, for dying for me on the cross and rising again so that I too may have life everlasting.Thank You for a good night�s rest and for the opportunity of serving You today. Thank You for the health and strength that I have.As I begin a new day, I thank You that Your mercies are new and fresh every morning, great is Your faithfulness.Thank You Father for loving me. O my God! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to His infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of His merciful love. O my God, I ask of Thee for myself and for those dear to me the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy holy will, to accept, for love of Thee, the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all eternity. Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me safely to the beginning of this day and I place my life and my future into Your hands. Thank You, Lord, that You have promised to be with me no matter what happens and I pray Your protection over me and over all the ranks of men and women who have been sent here for this assignment.May the angel of Your presence be round and about and no matter what I am called to do, I pray that I may rest in the shelter of Your wings, for You are my Lord and my Saviour. Give me a quick mind to respond as I should to all that I am called upon to do today, and give me the wisdom when I am called upon to deal with a difficult situation, so that I do not compromise my safety nor that of my fellow soldiers.Protect and defend me I pray by Your grace and power, and I may not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto all who believe. Fill me I pray with the Holy Spirit grace and knowledge and keep me safe until that day when You call me to be with Yourself in heavenly places. In Jesus' name,Amen.
As the world sings triumphant cries to heaven over death that You conquered, help us, Lord, tomorrow as well, when the dresses are put away and the candy is all eaten and on with life we go let us not forget. The celebration of Your Resurrection over death is a celebration of life that should continue well beyond the sunrise service and the music, rehearshed for days prior; it is beyond the sign of spring beyond the lilly beyond new lambs grazing in open fields. Resurrection is a daily celebration over fear; man's greatest and most powerful enemy. Fear of tomorrow, fear of our yesterdays, fear of what shall become of our young our old our unborn. Resurrection is replacing fear with physical action. This alone, the most touching and profound of Your signs that fear is dead and belief in You brings, not just hope but life. What better living parable could You have brought? All fear death. All. Even in the garden, You took on our fear if for only moments, it was as real as our fears can be real and You knew then that this single enemy must be destroyed. And, You sacrificed Your life, leaving those who had been comfort, and follower; You left them behind, to conquer fear. I shall cling to this now, and the tomorrows given me. Peace and Thanksgiving lifted unto You. Amen.
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings, all that this day may bring, be they good or bad: for the love of God, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Most Holy and Adorable Trinity, one God in three Persons, I firmly believe that You are here present; I adore You with the most profound humility; I praise You and give You thanks with all my heart for the favors You have bestowed on me. Your Goodness has brought me safely to the beginning of this day. Behold, O Lord, I offer You my whole being and in particular all my thoughts, words and actions, together with such crosses and contradictions as I may meet with in the course of this day. Give them, O Lord, Your blessing; may Your divine Love animate them and may they tend to the greater honor and glory of Your Sovereign Majesty. Amen.

As Morning breaks I think of you, O Lord, and my desire is to serve You joyfully. With gladness, I consecrate this day to Your Sacred Heart, and offer whatever joys and sacrifices may come my way. Thank You for the graces You will send, all the love, all the beauty, and the ways You will answer my prayers. Today, may I love my enemies, and treat others as I would ask to be treated; may I forgive seventy times seven and show mercy; may I welcome the prodigal, have compasSion for the Samaritan; be a peace-maker and love my neighbor unconditionally. Take all my heart, and mind and strength, O Lord, that this day may be truly lived for Your greater honor and glory and for the salvation of souls. Amen

Dear Lord Jesus, I do thank You for my lovely life and for the wonderful way that You have promised to be with me each day. Thank You, for bringing me safely through another night and for the gift of a new and wonderful day. Great is Your faithfulness.�Lord, I pray that as I prepare to get out of bed and get washed and dressed, that You would strengthen my legs and be my support as I go about my daily duties. Give me I pray, the strength to busy myself in my little kitchen and keep me from any dangers that may arise. Be with me I pray, as I go to and from the shops, and I ask that in Your kindness You would put those people in my path Whom You choose. And help me to be a worthy witness of Your grace and kindness to all I meet, not only in what I say but in the way that I think and act. Thank You for my wonderful children and for each of their lives, and thank You especially Lord, for the precious grandchildren that You have placed in my life, and for granting me the joy of seeing them start to grow up and develop into the little characters that have so blessed my soul. Lord, endue them with Your heavenly grace, enrich them with a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus, may each one grow in grace and in a knowledge of their Saviour and finally Lord, bring each one home to rest securely in Your everlasting arms. Lord, I am not getting any younger, but I trust You to carry me on eagles wings and give me a song of praise in my heart throughout the day. May I rest in Your love and abide in Your grace until You choose to take me to be with Yourself, for my times are in Your hands. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Lord God Almighty, who hast safely brought us to the beginning of this day, defend us in the same by Thy mighty power, that this day we may fall into no sin, but that all our words may so proceed, and all our thoughts and actions may be so directed as to do always that which is just in Thy sight. Precious Lord Jesus, how great You are and I just want to kneel before You today to say thank You. Thank You that Your blessings and mercies are new every morning. You are a great and wonderful God and I love You. Thank You, that Your love and grace towards me is waiting for me as I open my eyes to a new day. Thank You, that at the end of the day Your love continues to support me, to guard and protect me during the dark hours of the night. Thank You, that as I go about my daily business and the duties of the day, You are there to lead and guide to help and to support. And thank You that no matter where I go, Your blessings hover above my head, for my hope is in You. Thank You for Your great many precious blessings, and thank You that You pour them out on me day by day. Great is Your faithfulness O God my Saviour. All I have needed You have provided. Lord Jesus, thank You for bringing me safely through the night and for waking me up to a new day. May I honour You today in all I say and do. In Jesus' name,Amen.
Lord, I thank You that there is nothing that happens to me or to my loved ones that You do not know about, and that no matter what takes place in our lives, You are with us all of the time. Lord, I know that this world is not our home and that You have prepared a place in glory for all who have trusted Jesus Christ as Saviour. Thank You that however hard or difficult this life becomes and whatever befalls us, we know that what we endure through the trials of life, and the blackness and pain we may feel along the way will one day be lifted forever, when You come to take us to be with Yourself, when we will be with You in Your glorious heavenly home, for evermore. Thank You, that the weeping of the night that we are going through during our sojourn on earth, really will end in the most joyous morning, which You have promised to all who have trusted You. I praise Your name that You have kept all our tears in a bottle for You know our sadness, and have promised to wipe away all the tears and pain that we have endured. Lord, I do thank You that You have promised that Your grace is sufficient for all the hard times and trials that we may meet in this world. Praise Your holy name. Thank You that You have promised the sufficiency of your wonderful grace to support us through this wilderness walk on earth. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of all worship and praise and I ask that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart may be honoring and pleasing to You throughout this day, for You are a great and a faithful God.Thank You that in Christ, I can come before Your throne of grace wherever I am and no matter what time it is, for in Him I can offer my prayers and supplications to You. What a blessing to know that Christ laid down His life for me, so that in Him I can lay my life before You, in holiness and righteousness all my days.Lord, I want to be the person You would have me be and I thank You that Your faithfulness is new every morning. As I step out into this new day I ask that I am enabled through Christ to live out the events of my day, in a way that is acceptable to You.Thank You for the many faithful and true promises that You have given to me and to each of Your children. Good Morning God! You are ushering in another day, untouched and freshly new. So here I am to ask you, God, if You'll renew me too. Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday and let me try again dear God to walk closer in Your way. But Lord, I am well aware, I can't make it on my own. So take my hand and hold it tight, for I cannot walk alone.
O Christ, our Morning Star, Splendour of Light Eternal, shining with the glory of the rainbow, come and waken us from the greyness of our apathy,and renew in us your gift of hope. Amen.
