Let us not rush to the language of healing, before understanding the fullness of the injury and the depth of the wound. Let us not rush to offer a band�aid, when the gaping wound requires surgery and complete reconstruction. Let us not offer false equivalencies, thereby diminishing the particular pain being felt in a particular circumstance in a particular historical moment. Let us not speak of reconciliation without speaking of reparations and restoration, or how we can repair the breach and how we can restore the loss. Let us not rush past the loss of this mother�s child, this father�s child�someone�s beloved son. Let us not value property over people; let us not protect material objects while human lives hang in the balance. Let us not value a false peace over a righteous justice. Let us not be afraid to sit with the ugliness, the messiness, and the pain that is lifein community together. Let us not offer clich�s to the grieving, those whose hearts are being torn asunder. Instead� Let us mourn black and brown men and women, those killed extrajudicially every 28 hours. Let us lament the loss of a teenager, dead at the hands of a police officer who describedhim as a demon. Let us weep at a criminal justice system, which is neither blind nor just. Let us call for the mourning men and the wailing women, those willing to rend their garments of privilege and ease, and sit in the ashes of this nation�s original sin. Let us be silent when we don�t know what to say. Let us be humble and listen to the pain, rage, and grief pouring from the lips of our neighbors and friends. Let us decrease, so that our brothers and sisters who live on the underside of history may increase. Let us pray with our eyes open and our feet firmly planted on the ground Let us listen to the shattering glass and let us smell the purifying fires, for it is the language of the unheard. God, in your mercy�Show me my own complicity in injustice.Convict me for my indifference.Forgive me when I have remained silent.Equip me with a zeal for righteousness.Never let me grow accustomed or acclimated to unrighteousness. - Dr Yolanda Pierce
St. Gerard, who, like the Saviour, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. We thank God for the great gift of our son/daughter and ask Him to restore our child to health if such be His holy will. This favour, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers. Amen.
Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others; touch my heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch my mind with Your Wisdom, and may my mouth always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs, and help me to lead others to You by my example. All our times are in Thy hand. All diseases come at Thy call, and go at Thy bidding. Thou redeemest our life from destruction, and crownest us with loving kindness and tender mercies. We bless Thee, that Thou hast heard prayer, and commanded deliverances for our friend and Thy servant, who has been under Thine afflicting hand. He (or she) was brought low, but Thou hast helped him (her). May he (she) not only live, but declare the works of the Lord! As Thou hast delivered his eyes from tears, his feet from falling, and his soul from death, may he daily inquire:What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me,and resolve to offer unto Thee the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and to call upon the name of the Lord. May we ever remember that recovery is only a reprieve and that some day we will go to our rest in the Lord. May we therefore secure the righteous path and live with eternity ever in our view.
Father, I have been deeply hurt and grieved because of my spouse�s adultery and the pain at times is more than I can bear. It is so hard to come to terms with the fact that the one person in your life that you are closest to.. and have trusted implicitly, is discovered to be an adulterer who has betrayed the loving trust we have between us. I lay my brokenness before You and pour out my heart to You, for I have no one to turn to Lord but You.. and I need Your comfort and healing touch to get through this tremendous sadness.� Father.. in my heart I know that if I nurse this grief and continue to feel sorry for myself.. that it is likely to turn into sour bitterness and acidic resentment. Prevent me Lord from going down that self-indulgent route, but rather heal me I pray. Touch the areas deep within that are still raw with pain; bathe my wounds with Your love and peace.. and bring me through this ordeal, stronger and more able to be of service to You. Help me to forgive too.. I know that in my own strength this would be impossible, but I ask that You would give me the sufficient grace to forgive their unfaithfulness.. and the ability to remember their sin no more � this I ask in Jesus name, Amen
Loving Lord Jesus, You are the good Shepherd of the sheep and You are the One Who carries the little lambs in Your arms and gently cares for those that are weak and afraid. Lord, it is so hard to watch a child in distress and feel helpless to aid them, but I pray Lord, that You would safely carry this little child and tend for him/her as only You can. I lift up this precious child to You, and ask for Your healing power to permeate through their frail body and return them to radiant health and strength. Relieve all the symptoms of this unpleasant illness that has invaded this little body. Guard my child from danger and may he/she respond to Your healing touch on their life. Thank You, that You are a God Who cares and loves little children and that You hear and answer prayers. Keep this precious lamb enfolded in Your arms and resting on Your bosom. Raise him/her back to full health I pray, and we will give You all the thanks and praise for You alone are worthy. Amen.
O Lord, Jesus Christ, Divine Healer, grant me peace of mind and perfect trust in You in my time of distress. Give me control over my fears. Grant that I may be cooperative and patient with Your Will, trusting that You will restore me to full health.
Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, (name), for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he/she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I confide all my pains to your Sacred Heart, and beg You to unite them with Your bitter sufferings, and thus perfect them by making them Your own. Since I cannot render You the praise due to You because of the multitude of my sorrows and afflictions, I ask You to praise God the Father for all I suffer, with the same tribute of praise You offered Him when Your agony on the Cross was at its height. As You thanked Him with all the powers of Your soul for all the sufferings and injustice which He willed You should endure, so, I pray You, give Him thanks for my trials also. Offer my sufferings, physical and spiritual, to Him together with Your most holy pains to His eternal honour and glory. Amen.
Dear Lord, here is a new day you have given me in which to love You and to help others to love You. Above all things, help me to love and accept Your holy will. Lord Jesus, in giving me this cross of my illness, it was Your desire to bring me nearer to Your Divine Heart. I want to bring others also to know You better, to love You more, and for this I know that good and holy priests are necessary; so I will offer my cross, united with Yours, for vocations to the holy priesthood. Amen. Teach me, O Lord, to do Your will, for You are my God. Keep me, Lord, as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Dear Lord, You are the Just judge, Holy and True. You are the Most High God. You give us life. You hold all power in your hands. You are the Mighty one from God who carries the world, and is ruler over all the earth. You Oh Most Blessed One are the giver of life. In you are only good things. In you is mercy and love. In you is healing of the nations. In you is freedom of worry and freedom of pain. Lord Almighty, You loved us so much. You were sent from your Father, sent to save us from destruction. We truly can never make it to Heaven without the help of Jesus the Son, who was sent to earth to help us. You, Lord are full of mercy and grace, please forgive us for our faults. Dear Lord as I settle down once again for the night I pray for Your healing touch on every part of my life � both spiritual and physical. Lord You know all the little niggles and pains that I am going through at the moment, and I pray for Your healing touch upon every area of my life in general.. and for relief from the aches, pains and problems that I have in my body, in particular. Ease away all the stresses and strains of the day and heal the physical problems I have. And I pray that in Your goodness and grace You would give me a good, pain-free nights sleep so that I may wake refreshed in body, soul and spirit, ready to do Your bidding - this I ask in Jesus name,� Amen �Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am weak; heal me, Lord, for my bones are shaking;� (Psalm 6:2)
I prayed "Please Lord, my life is a mess, let your love flow through me and bring healing." And like a river cool refreshing water you flowed through me. Not as a gentle stream, a rivulet of hope, but a torrent, sweeping debris away. All those broken branches, rust-encrusted items, and accumulated debris, which were holding back the flow swept aside in a torrent of love, flooding through my veins, pouring into my heart, filling my life. This is healing. Thank you, Lord
O kind and good Mother, whose own soul was pierced by the sword of sorrow, look upon us while, in our sickness, we arraign ourselves beside you on the Calvary where your Jesus hangs. Dowered with the high grace of suffering, and hopeful of fulfilling in our own flesh what is wanting in our sharing of Christ's passion, on behalf of his Mystical Body, the Church, we consecrate to you ourselves and our pain. We pray that you will place them on that Altar of the Cross to which Jesus is affixed. May they be little victims of propitiation for our salvation, for the salvation of all peoples. O Mother of Sorrows, accept this consecration. Strengthen our hopeful hearts, that as partakers of Christ's sufferings we may also share in his comfort now and for evermore. Amen.

Bless the Lord oh my soul and may I never forget Your gracious benefits, for You are the divine physician and are able to touch every part of our lives with Your redeeming love. Lord, we live in a fallen world and each one of us needs Your healing touch in so many ways on our lives, for none of us are exempt from the ravages of sin and none of us are immune from sickness and suffering, and so I come to You today to ask for Your healing touch in every area of our lives.Lord, I know that sickness and suffering, pain and death is a reality in life, for in this world we will have tribulation, and yet a life that is surrendered to You is one that is able to give thanks to You in everything, knowing that You are able and willing to be with us and uphold us in every area of life, for Your grace is sufficient in all and every situation.Lord, I believe this to be true, for Your Word is faithful and true. I also believe that You are able to heal every manner of disease and sickness and so I pray for Your healing touch in every area of my life, and in the lives of all whom I love, body and soul, as well as spirit. But Lord, I also know that You often permit sickness and suffering in an amazing way to draw us ever closer to Yourself.Lord, I give You my life and surrender all to You, for I desire the full and total healing, the sort of healing that brings glory to You. Dear Father in heaven, I lift up this precious little girl to You who is so ill, and ask that You bring her back to full health and strength speedily. Remove all the pain and fear that this aggressive illness is causing. I ask Father, that in Your grace and love, You will spare her from the suffering that this wretched illness is causing and You will help and guide her parents, together with the medical professionals, to care for her and treat her with the medication and help that is most needful. Bless her young life, Lord, and I pray that as she has been taught the holy Scriptures from being a little babe, that You would make Yourself beautifully known to her, in a very special way, so that she understands that You are with her and that You said, "suffer the little children to come unto Me."�Comfort the parents in their time of need and may they draw every closer to You during this difficult time.�In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, my son has started to have asthma attacks and they seem to be getting worse. He finds it difficult to breathe and can get so frightened when an attack happens. Dear God please be with him and with me too. Guide me to know what to do and not to panic when these frightening attacks happen. Help me to be able to cope with all I have to do to with the breathing equipment that we are having to use. Lord, I know that You are a God Who heals and You are the God of the impossible. I pray that You heal my son of this distressing disease and return him to full health, so that he can live a normal life and be able to play with the other children and join in sports at school without having to worry about another attack. Thank You, Lord, that You care for each of Your children and so I put my son into Your hands and ask for his healing.��Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen.
Precious Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are my Saviour and that You have redeemed me from the kingdom of darkness into Your glorious kingdom of Light. Lord, I know that Your Word tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength and that a joyful heart is a good and healing medicine. Lord, I pray that in Your strength, I may maintain a heart that is brimming with Your joy and one that rejoices in the God of my Salvation day by day, knowing that a broken spirit �dries up the bones�.Lord, I know that You are a miracle working God, and that the greatest miracle of all that You have wrought in me, is my great salvation in Jesus Christ, Who died for me so that I might be forgiven of my sins and have everlasting life, but I also ask that You send Your mighty healing power into my body, during the time of illness that I am currently going through.Father I pray that You would touch every organ and ligament of my body, every joint and cell and restore me to full health and strength, but I also pray that during my sickness You would touch my heart and fill it with Your love, Your grace and Your joy, for in You is the fullness of joy. Lord, You alone can flood a sick body with healing and You alone can overflow a heart with joy and peace, and so I rest my soul in You, and thank You for all the healing of body and soul that I know You are working within me. Heavenly Father, please look down with compassion on my friend who has been confined to a bed of sickness and is in such great physical pain. Send comfort and healing I pray, and in Your gracious kindness, please strengthen and heal whatever the problem is that has caused this illness in their body. Grand SpiritThank You for being with me through all the ups and downs of my life and for the many blessings that You have given me for which I praise and thank You. You know the illness that I have been struggling with for a long time now and that there is little that seems to be able to be done by the medical profession - but I believe that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and that You know every part of my body. You know exactly why I have been ill for so long. I come to You now asking that You would work a full recovery in my body - whatever is causing this persistent problem. I pray that You would, in Your mercy, give me back the health and strength I need. Guide me along the path that You have planned for me.
Heavenly Father, my hope is You alone, for You have promised to draw close to those that are broken-hearted, distressed and abused. Father, You know the on-going and increasing emotional abuse that I am receiving at the hand of my spouse.�Lord, I know that this is not Your will for my life, and I come to You for strength and courage, for I have no-one to turn to for help but You. Protect me I pray. Protect us all from this escalating violence and help me to know what to do�Give me wisdom and courage I pray, and place a hedge of protection around us all. And Father God, I ask that Your Holy Spirit would do a mighty convicting work in heart of my spouse, for it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Loving Lord, I thank You for my brother. I love him dearly, but Lord I know that You care for him so much more that I ever could, for Your whole nature is bathed and brimming with perfect Love and deep Compassion. Heal my dear brother I pray, not only of his physical ailments that are bothering him at this time, but more importantly I pray that You would address his spiritual need. Lord, he has played the fool with the good news of Salvation and wants to "enjoy life" first, before he thinks about his eternal soul.�But Father, this is a dangerous game to play, and I pray that in Your love and compassionate mercy You will convict Him of sin in his life, and the need for Salvation through Jesus Christ, Who is his only door into eternal life. You have called each of us to pray earnestly for all men, and especially those of our own household, and though I know this means I should pray for all my born-again brothers and sister in Christ, I am sure that it includes the brother that is a part of my earthly family. And so I come to You today to plead that in Your grace and mercy, You would bring my own brother, whom I love dearly, to recognise His need of Jesus, just as You did the apostle Paul on the road to Damascus. Heal him Lord, in body, soul and spirit I pray, in Jesus' precious name, Amen.
Oh Lord, I am ill and feel frightened and alone as I have no one to care for me. I have no one who is really interested in me at all, and I feel lost and alone and so vulnerable. And now Lord Jesus, I have come down with this sickness and I feel so ill. Lord, I ask You please to make me well again soon, and lift up my sagging spirit, I pray. I know Lord in my heart that I am not alone, because You are with me, which is the real reason that I am praying to You now, because You promised to be with me and never to leave me or forsake me, even when everyone else does. Be with me now I pray, and reach out Your healing hand of blessing and touch me Lord. Please make me feel better, not only in my body but also in my life, I pray. Thank You, that I can call on You in times of trouble or illness or loneliness, and know that You are always there to hear and answer, to heal and comfort and help. Lord, I pray that You would help me to really apply this truth in my life, not just when I am sick, but every day.�Amen. �God provides homes for those who are deserted. He leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a scorched land.� (Psalm 68:6)
Loving God, I have been going through some painful memories which I just can�t seem to get rid of, no matter how hard I try. They keep on returning to haunt me, and I thought that Jesus would just take away all the hurt within. Please help me GodI know I am a sinner and I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for my sins to pay the price that I ought to pay, so why do I still feel so bad? Why do I still feel so full of guilt and bitterness, anger hatred and resentment?Help me Lord, to forgive all those that hurt and betrayed me. Heal me I pray, of all the negative emotions that well-up inside of me. Enable me to stop thinking about the painful memories of the past and concentrate on all the beautiful things that Jesus has done for me, and the wonderful things that He has prepared for me in heaven � and to start to enjoy them this moment on.When painful memories arise in my heart, help me to stop thinking about them and to fix my mind on all that Jesus did for me. Help me to be more like Jesus. Help me Lord, to forgive those that have hurt me and not to build up resentments. Take away the bitter feelings of anger and betrayal inside, and show me how I can best live my life. Teach me how to love others in the same way that Jesus loved me and gave His life for me, so that I can change my thinking and concentrate on the lovely things in my life, the good relationships I have and all the happy memories too.I ask this in His name,Amen.
O blessed Lord, the Father of mercies and God of all consolation, we ask you to look down with infinite pity and compassion upon this your sick servant. Remember the sharpness and weariness of his pains. Break not the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax, but make him to hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice. Deliver him from the snares and temptation of Satan, from all impatience and repining at your chastisement, from all unbelief and distrust in your mercies, from improper fears of death and immoderate desires for life. Grant unto him sincere repentance for his sins, and perfect assurance that they have been forgiven and his complete salvation secured through the atoning sacrifice and effectual mediation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sanctify to him all his afflictions, and, though very grievous to the flesh, may they begin even now, to work out for him a far more exceeding and an eternal weight of glory. Prepare him for all that you have prepared for him. Give him to see the desire of his heart in the well-being and the well-doing of all bound to him by the ties of natural affection. Lord, I ask for Your healing power to flood through every part of this little body and to restore this baby to full health and strength. O God, I have a dear friend who is very ill and I feel so helpless. Father, we are fearfully and wonderfully made, for You formed each of us in our mother�s womb and fashioned each of our bodies and You know where this particular problem lies.Father, I know that there is nothing in my friend�s body that You do not know about and nothing that is beyond Your ability to heal, and so I lift up this dear one to You.� You know the source of the pain, and Your healing touch still has its ancient power. I pray that You will heal this child of Yours and raise them back to full health and strength, and we will give You all the praise and all the glory.Please give me words of comfort and encouragement as I seek to advise them in difficult days that lie ahead. I also ask that You provide for all their needs, according to Your loving-kindness. This I ask in Jesus' name,Amen.
Oh Lord Jesus, my little one is not very well at all, and she is so tiny and vulnerable and I don�t know what to do to help. Give me wisdom I pray, and show me what I ought to do. Lord Jesus, You are the great doctor of all doctors and You know exactly what is wrong with her. Lord, I pray that You would overshadow my little baby and stretch out Your healing hand and touch her. Make her better, very soon I pray. Grant me peace in my heart, and the wisdom to know what I should do. Help me not to panic, but to trust You in all things. I trust You Lord, Amen.

O Good St. Anne you who cured the sick and laid a healing hand upon the lame, the blind, and the crippled, look with compassion upon me in my trouble. If it is not God's Will to cure me, give me strength to bear my burden and offer it up to Him, who suffered so much for me. Give me grace to offer my sufferings in union with Jesus', in reparation for my sins and those of others, for the needs of this troubled world, and for the release of the souls in purgatory. Oh Lord, I had an abortion thinking it was for the best, but the grief and guilt I have felt ever since I took that decision has haunted me, and I feel so ashamed of myself and riddled with guilt, by allowing a little life to be taken in this way.�My heart is so heavy and I find that I am not able to think about anything else and realise more and more that it is against You Lord, that I have sinned and done this great wrong.�Lord, I feel broken inside and pray for Your healing and comfort. You have promised to mend the broken-hearted and to set those that are captive to guilt and shame free, and Lord, You have promised forgiveness and restoration to all who come humbly to Your throne of grace and confess their wrongdoing. My hope is in You, for You alone can restore the joy of my salvation.�Thank You, that You are a forgiving God, Whose mercies are new every morning and that You that You have promised to carry all our guilt and burdens, and so I hand this over to You today, and ask for the healing and restoration that only You can give, and the grace to forget what is past and move on with You as my guide. Gracious Lord, You know me better than I know myself and I need Your healing touch on my life today. You know all about the emotional pain that I have been going through, and oh Lord, I need You to come into my heart and to bind up the brokenness within me. I feel that I have been battered and bruised emotionally and am almost gasping for breath, due to the pain that has been stabbing my heart.Lord, You know that I have no one in whom I can confide, because no one really understands the searing wounds that have shattered inside me and the deep anguish I am going through. Oh Lord, I come to You to heal my emotions, heal my wounded heart I pray. Heal the anguish that is deep inside.Lord, flood every corner of my being with Your soothing balm and Your healing love, and root out all the negative emotions that are bubbling inside me, like a smouldering volcano. Release into the aching void within, Your love and Your peace, Your hope and Your gracious presence, and gently carry me as a kindly Shepherd would carry a frightened, little wounded lamb. Lord, I am trusting in You, because I know that You alone can be trusted.Amen.
Oh Lord, I feel that both my heart and my life has been shattered into a thousand pieces and I don�t know what to do or which way to turn. I feel that I have no strength left and that everything in my life has become an utter failure. Have mercy on me I pray, according to Your great goodness and abundant grace.Lord, I know that Your Word says that You will give strength to the weary and hope to the distressed and I feel both weak and in distress, and ask for Your help and strength.Help me to wait on You, abide in You and rest in Your love, because I know that You have promised that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength and rise up with the wings as eagles.Thank You also, that You have promised to heal the broken-hearted and restore those that are hurting. Dear Lord, I know that You are a God Who heals all manner of sickness and illness through the power of Your Holy Spirit. I ask that by His power, You would send healing and wholeness to all who are afflicted at this time with illnesses and diseases.Send comfort and strength at this time of difficulty. Dear Jesus, my friend has developed a lump on her breast and is concerned that this might be cancer. I ask You Lord Jesus to comfort and help her and to guide her, as to who she ought to go and see and what to do about this concern that she has. I know that You have said that if we ask anything in Your name You would do it. I ask You, Lord, to visit my friend at her point of need and minister to her and give her courage, as only You can � and Jesus, I ask that this lump may go right away. I also pray that You will use me to be a comfort and support at this worrying time and I pray that we both learn to rest in You and to trust You in all things, knowing that You care about every part of our lives and our bodies. Thank You that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and I pray for Your healing touch on my dear sister in Christ, that this lump will go away quickly, and we will praise Your name. Loving Lord, I know that nothing is impossible with You and nothing it too difficult for you to do. I know that you have healed many diseases and sicknesses and You have promised to be my Healer too. I pray for Your healing touch on my life and the cancer that is now beginning to spread through my body. Lord, I don�t know how to pray and at times I just feel unable to pray, but I lift my heart to You and pray that in Your time and in Your way You will touch my body and heal me of this disease. Heavenly Lord, I come to You today to lift up my dear sister, whose health is failing badly and who needs Your touch of healing on her life. Lord, I know that You are the Giver of life You know exactly what is the problem from which my sister is suffering, and I pray that in a wonderful way You would touch her and heal her as only You can.Father, I know that You have power to heal and sometimes to choose to heal a person and at other times Your will is to be an ever-present Help in the midst of our distresses. I ask Lord, that whatever the reason for my sister�s deteriorating health that You would give her the sufficient grace that You have promised to all Your children, so that you demonstrate not only to them but to those that have to do with them an amazing grace that only You can provide.Nevertheless Father, I pray that You will see fit to heal my sister and to raise her to full health and strength, but may Your perfect will be done in her life and we will give you all the praise and all the glory, for You alone are worthy to recover our worship and praise. Heavenly Father, I know that my times are in Your hands and I also believe that You care about everything in my life. In Your sovereignty, You are not surprised by anything that happens to any of Your children. I believe that You make all things work together for the good of us that love You. I believe that You care for each one of us with a perfect and holy love.I come to You today because my health has been deteriorating with some ailment that has not been diagnosed. I am not sure what to do, but I know that You understand everything about me. I believe that You know exactly what I need to bring me back to full health and strength and I am trusting You in this time of illness in my life.Please God, I ask for Your healing touch on my life, and pray that You would bring to my attention the treatment that is best suited for my condition. Please direct me in the way that I should go at this difficult time in my life. Almighty and most merciful God, I bring before You this little child who is suffering such pain and discomfort, and I ask that in Your grace and mercy You would raise them back up into full health and strength and work a speedy recovery. The Lord Jesus took little children in His arms of love and blessed them, and I pray that in a very special way You would put Your arms of love and blessing around this little one and minister to each need and every pain. Little ones do not understand why they are feeling so sick, and I just ask that You would have compassion for this little child, and take away any fear and pain. Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. Heavenly Father, we live in a fallen world and are surrounded with so many men and women as well as boys and girls, who have suffered emotional damage or are going through emotional abuse, and I just want to take a few moments to lift up all those that are experiencing this type of trauma, and pray for Your healing touch on their lives.�Lord, You know every one who is in need of emotional healing and the hurt and pain that they are going through, and I ask You to meet each one at their own point of need. May they find their strength, support, comfort and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.�Refresh those that are weary, strengthen those that are weak, help the afflicted, deliver the needy, comfort the sorrowing, heal those that are hurting and draw very close to all who are in need of emotional healing. I confide all my pains to your Sacred Heart, and beg you to unite them with your bitter sufferings, and thus perfect them by making them your own. Since I cannot render you the praise due to you because of the multitude of my sorrows and afflictions, I ask you to praise God the Father for all I suffer, with the same tribute of praise you offered him when your agony on the Cross was at its height. As you thanked him with all the powers of your soul for all the sufferings and injustice which he willed you should endure, so, I pray you, give him thanks for my trials also. May the Lord bless and keep all who are unwell today. Heavenly Father, I lift up my dear friend who has contracted a serious illness, and Lord, You know better than I the difficulties and problems that this is causing. Help us all to turn to You in this time of deep distress and surround my dear friend I pray, with Your comforting arms of blessing. Pour into all our hearts Your peace that passes understanding. Strengthen our hearts, and calm the fears of all concerned, with the blessed hope that we all have in Christ Jesus our Lord.Lord, I place the life of my dear friend into Your safekeeping, and pray that Your hand of blessing would carry us all through the coming days and weeks. And Lord, I ask that Your healing touch would be upon this dear one, whom we all love so deeply.Lord, Your healing hand has not lost its power and Your arm has not lost its strength, and so I pray that You would reach out and flood healing into the broken body of our friend and that You would bring wholeness to their soul. And Lord, we all praise You that no matter what the outcome may be, Your grace is sufficient for all our needs and that Your love for each is never-ending.Comfort and bless this dear friend of ours and may each of us know with assurance that You are in control, and that nothing can happen of which you are unaware. I ask Lord, that You heal her of whatever it is that is troubling her. Dear Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your never-failing love towards me. Even when I was lost in sin and without hope in the world, You looked down and gently called me to be Your child, even though I was rebellious and restless.Lord, You know that partly due to not caring for myself and partly for no other reason that we live in a fallen world, I am suffering a debilitating sickness. I ask that You would graciously look down on me and pick me up again and heal me in body as well as in spirit, as You did once before.Thank You for dying for me to pay the price for my sins, and thank You that You were wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities and that by Your stripes I am healed. Lord, I know that this body of mine is only going to deteriorate more and more as I get older, but I do pray that in Your grace and mercy, You would set me free from the unpleasant sickness and pain that I am going through at the moment, and give me relief and healing.Lord, I do pray that You would set me free from this debilitating sickness that I am going through. Nevertheless, I also thank You that in all things Your grace is sufficient for You have proved this to be the case time and time again in the past. Thank You, that You are a faithful God in all things and I ask that my life, in sickness and in health, is a life that glorifies You.Keep me I pray from grumbling, when I have received such an overabundance of Your mercies, which are new every morning. Virgin, most holy, Mother of the Word Incarnate, Treasurer of graces, and Refuge of sinners, I fly top your motherly affection with lively faith, and I beg of you the grace ever to do the will of God. Into your most holy hands I commit the keeping of my heart, asking you for health of soul and body, in the certain hope that you, my most loving Mother, will hear my prayer. Into the bosom of your tender mercy, this day, every day of my life, and at the hour of my death, I commend my soul and body. To you I entrust all my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries, my life and the end of my life, that all my actions may be ordered and disposed according to your will and that of your Divine Son. Lord, the pain is so deep that I hardly know how to pray. Please examine my inner being and reveal to me any areas of unresolved emotional pain, resentment or unforgiveness. Touch me I pray with Your love, and begin the precious healing process within, that only You can accomplish.�Flood me with Your healing and wholeness, and if there are areas in my heart that need to be confessed, or for which I need to repent, I pray that You would bring them to the forefront of my mind and set me free from the bondage of this deep and traumatised hurt.�I know that the Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and I simply want to rest in Your love and allow Your streams of healing and strength to flood my heart my mind, my body and my soul.�Thank You, that You are the divine Physician and the God who heals all our pain. I come to You Heavenly Father, in a time of great loneliness and pain, and pray for Your healing touch upon my life and the sufficient grace to face each day.�I ask for Your comfort and peace, especially during those moments of intense loneliness when I feel so incredibly alone and helpless. I long for just one person to show a little love and care, and yet the people that I know are too busy with their own lives to notice the intense pain that I am going through. Help me not to be bitter by their lack of love, but rather use it I pray, to mould me into the person that I know You want me to be.�Thank You, Lord, that no matter who forsakes me or displays disinterest in my life, that You are a faithful and ever-present friend, Who has promised never to leave me nor forsake me, and that no matter what difficulties or problems I may face, You are always there to love and to care, and to support with Your sufficient grace.�Touch the hearts of all those who like me, are facing loneliness. Comfort all our hearts. Give us the joy of Your salvation and help us all to look to Jesus during those times of loneliness. And I pray that You would help us to grow in grace, so that we may be enabled to show comfort and succour to others who are facing times of great loneliness and pain. This I ask in Jesus' name,Amen.

There is no health in my flesh because of your indignation; there is no wholeness in my bones because of my sin. My heart throbs, my strength forsakes me; the very light of my eyes has failed me. For I am very near to falling; and my grief is with me always. Indeed, I acknowledge my guilt; I grieve over my sins. Forsake me not, O Lord,; my God be not far from me! Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation. Let me know, O Lord, my end and what is the number of my days, that I may learn how frail I am. A short span you have made my days, and my life is as nought before you; only a breath is any human existence. Hear my prayer, O Lord, to my cry give ear; to my weeping be not deaf! For I am but a wayfarer before you, a pilgrim like all my fathers. Turn you gaze from me that I may find respite, ere I depart and be no more.
Heavenly Lord, You know and understand the health difficulties that I am struggling with and the pain that I am experiencing. Thank You, that Your grace is sufficient for all my needs and thank You, that Your hand of blessing is forever upon me. Reach out Your healing hand to me, as You did in times past, knowing that You are still mighty to save. I ask this in Jesus' name,Amen.
Loving Father, I know that You often halt us in our tracks and remove us from the business of life, through an illness or a time of ill-health, so that we are forced take our eyes off the hurly-burly of life and lie on an enforced bed of sickness, in order to rediscover what are our true priorities are in life.Father, I know that I have not spent quality time with You, as I have allowed the daily duties of life and less-important issues to crowd out my special time alone in Your presence.Forgive me, I pray. I want to use this time of ill-health as an opportunity to get closer to You. Lead me and guide me in this time of illness, and may it become a time of spiritual as well as a period of physical rest.Heal me Father I pray, not only in my body but also in my relationship with You. Dear Lord, it is to You that I always come when things are difficult of when unexpected sickness strikes. Forgive me for the many times when I have ignored You or tried to do things in my own strength, I know that my strength and help comes from the Lord alone and I ask Your forgiveness for my careless attitude towards You in the past.Thank You, that You are always faithful, even when I prove unfaithful to You, and so I come to You with this unexpected sickness and ask Lord, that You would touch me and make me whole again. Restore my health to me I pray, and take away this unexpected illness. Lord, I do not feel well and I really don�t know what to do and so I am looking to You for help and strength, and Lord, I pray for a speedy recovery.Restore my health I pray, and may this realisation of my neglect be a catalyst to turn the eyes of my heart, the actions of my life and the motives of my mind back to Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. May this unexpected sickness bring me back to the cross so that my fellowship with the Father may be properly restored. I have not loved You as I ought Lord, and have been living my life in rather a selfish way, but I pray that You would look graciously on me and use this as a reminder to keep my eyes firmly looking to Jesus, from this day forward and not to seek to live my life independently of You. I ask this in Jesus' name,Amen.
